Order Up Cancellation Policy

At Order Up, we aim to provide flexibility for our users while ensuring the protection of our partners which include restaurants, pharmacies, grocery stores, and local vendors. The cancellation policy varies slightly depending on the type of order:

1. Food Orders:

• Food orders may be canceled within a few minutes of placing, given that the restaurant has not yet accepted the order.
• Once the restaurant accepts and begins preparation, cancellations are not permitted to maintain fairness to our restaurant partners who initiate food preparations immediately upon order acceptance.

2. Pharmacy Orders:

• Pharmacy orders can be canceled at any point before the order has been confirmed for pick up or delivery. Once your items have been prepared, cancellation is not allowed.

3. Grocery Orders:

• You can cancel your grocery order until it has been confirmed by the vendor. Post confirmation and preparation, cancellations are not accepted.

4. Local Vendor/Shop Orders:

• For orders made to our local vendors/shops, cancellation is permitted until the order has been confirmed for delivery or pick-up.

For all types of orders, any request for cancellation after the order has been confirmed will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to a cancellation fee. This fee is to compensate our partners for the resources they have committed to preparing your order.

Order Up operates under a strict refund policy to protect both us and our partners from potential abuse. Refunds will only be issued under strict circumstances, as outlined in our Refund Policy. Users are strongly advised to review their orders carefully and familiarize themselves with our policies before placing an order on our platform.

Continuous cancellations may result in temporary or permanent restrictions on your Order Up account to ensure a smooth and fair experience for all users.
