At Order Up, we strive to balance user flexibility with fairness to our vendors and delivery drivers. Below is our cancellation policy for different types of orders:
1. Food Orders:
Food orders can be canceled if the vendor has not yet started processing the order. To cancel, please contact Order Up through the chat section in the menu and provide your order ID. You may also message or call the vendor directly through the app. However, please note that this is not guaranteed, as many orders are often started immediately. We encourage all customers to double-check their orders and delivery address to ensure a smooth order process.
2. Grocery Orders:
Grocery orders may be canceled only if our shoppers have not yet checked out at the supermarket. In this case, you will be refunded for the grocery amount only. Other fees, such as delivery fees, will not be refunded to ensure fairness to our delivery drivers.
3. Catering Orders:
Catering orders can be canceled before the vendor begins processing. You may message or call the vendor directly before processing starts. If the process has started and you still wish to cancel, no refund will be given.
4. Local Artisans and Shops:
Orders from local artisans and other shops can be canceled by contacting the vendor directly. If the delivery person has already picked up the item, only the cost of the items will be refunded. Delivery fees and other fees will not be refunded to ensure fairness to our drivers.
For all types of orders, any request for cancellation after the vendor has started processing will generally not be accepted. In exceptional circumstances, we may review the request on a case-by-case basis, and if granted, a cancellation fee may apply to compensate our partners for the resources they have committed to preparing your order.
Important Note:
Order Up follows a strict refund policy to protect vendors and ensure a smooth experience. Refunds are issued only under specific circumstances, as outlined in our Refund Policy. Please review your orders carefully before placing them.
